What a fun year it’s been at Timocco!

NewYear-01sized
The year’s almost over and here at Timocco we’re looking forward to 2015, and hoping it’ll be as good as a year as the one that’s finishing up. We had a great year, we hope you did too, and we’d like to tell you a little about what we did this year:

We launched six new games in 2014 – Ladybug, Cookie Mania, Dig it, Hungry Frogs, Fish Spell and Feed the Rabbits, games that work on a range of skills, including executive function, motor control and motor planning, timing, early learning and academic skills like quantity perception, spelling and much more. And we launched new features, like our progress tracking tool, to help therapists and parents track performance developments.

Timocco users played thousands of games at home and during clinical therapy, improving motor, cognitive and communication skills. Here’s some statistics for you: Overall, 61270 games were played in 2014! In seconds, that’s 6,816,642, or around 1,800 hours or 11 weeks if that’s a slightly easier number to comprehend!

Timocco around the world

In 2014, Timocco expanded into South America, Asia and further into Europe. We’re proud to report there are now Timocco players in Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Taiwan, Japan, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany. And of course, that’s in addition to existing players and therapists using Timocco in the US, Canada, Greece, Portugal, Britain, Israel, Spain and Australia.

In 2014 we began adapting Timocco’s gaming platform to work with eye tracking technology and we’re excited about developing that further in 2015 – we’ve got a host of new games planned, including some specifically designed to work with eye tracking technologies.

If you’ve been keeping up with the news on our recent blog posts, you’ll know that last week we launched our new website, and our in-house team of OTs recently put together a series of activity plans for the Christmas break.

So to all our readers, players, therapists and others, we hope you have a great holiday break and wish you all the best for 2015!
