Timocco’s Trip to AOTA 2017 was Amazing!

April 4, 2017 by Jayne Malloy Leave a Comment

The Timocco team just returned from Philadelphia at our 4th AOTA conference, and it was the best one yet! We were so excited to meet all of the therapists and professionals in the therapy arena, as well as the OTs of tomorrow (students). We had a Timocco marathon playing over 500 games over the course of 3 days. It was great to meet therapists who have used Timocco for years and hear their feedback on our new platform updates. There was no shortage of smiles and energy at our booth as we … [Read more...]

Playing Timocco with the hands/arms is great, but have you ever thought about playing with other parts of the body? Below are some awesome examples of new ways to make Timocco an even more useful tool in your “therapy toolbox”. You can … [Read more...]

Game Highlight: Fish Spell offers great variety of Skill Development!

March 10, 2017 by Jayne Malloy Leave a Comment

Timocco’s platform has so many great games for skill development, and we wanted to take some time to highlight one of our favorites, Fish Spell. The name of the game does contain the word spell, so there is definitely a letter/word component to this game, but it doesn’t have to be played with letters; you can also play with colors or shapes. The game mostly works on motor accuracy and efficiency, sequencing, spelling, as well as visual perception & discrimination. To play ‘Fish … [Read more...]

Top Three Engaging Timocco Plans based on Developmental Age!

February 1, 2017 by Jayne Malloy Leave a Comment

Within the Timocco platform, there are many ways to play and engage the player. Our plans were designed by OTs and educators to align to common IEP goals and consist of pre-selected games with pre-set settings. The settings get progressively more challenging throughout the plan to work on the selected skill. Also, these plans have built-in assessment games that enable the therapist/professional to compare progress over time. Timocco’s plans can be used in a variety of ways, but we generally … [Read more...]

Ask Sarit: Playing Timocco at Home in a Weekly Routine

February 2, 2015 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

"Hi, I work in a private clinic and I enjoy using Timocco’s games during therapy. Some parents of children that I work with in-clinic have purchased Timocco’s home-edition package so their child can continue playing and developing skills at home. One child’s parents asked me to build them a workout plan, but they’re not sticking to it. What do you suggest?" The problem you’re describing is well known to us both as parents and therapists. Often there’s much we want to get done, but ultimately … [Read more...]

Ask Sarit:

January 19, 2015 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

Hi, Timocco appears to be a therapeutic game that can provide variety in treatment, but I’m concerned that I’ll have technical difficulties with the platform and as a therapist I’ll be unnecessary during treatment with a computer. Your concern regarding operating the software is understood, but from my experience with many therapists I can tell you with certainty that from the moment you try, you’ll find the platform user-friendly and easy to use. Here at Timocco we’re committed to being … [Read more...]
