Timocco’s Online Portal

May 22, 2013 by timoccom 2 Comments

Each week OT expert, Sarit Tresser will be giving an in-depth insightful analysis into the various ways Health Games aid children with disabilities. Stay connected to receive first-hand input from a professional  the field of child development

Timooco’s professional team understands that in order to achieve a meaningful change in one’s life, the training mustn’t stop when leaving the clinic / hospital / school.

For making a difference in the child’s quality of life and to enhance their abilities, it is most important to continue practice at home.

Therefore, Timocco created an interactive online platform for engaging the child and his parent in up to 50 therapeutic and exciting activities that allow them to have quality time together while practicing vital skills.

The Timocco online portal bridges the gap between patients at home and professionals (their therapist / teachers) at their workplace.

We believe that a close interaction between the family and the therapist that works with the child can be a meaningful added value and is critical for an effective and safe practice.

For that reason, the online portal provides a perfect tool for therapist and families to communicate. It allows the therapist to build a tailor made program for each child, reward and encourage the child to work from home and send instructions, explanations or feedback to the parent. Our user friendly on-line platform also allows therapists/ teachers to quickly yet accurately analyze the recorded data for each child and adjust the activity accordingly  All the activities and services are available in the same place, Timocco’s online portal.

The benefits:

–          Allows Therapist/ Teacher remote support and supervision.

–          Monitoring and tracking data over extended periods of time.

–          Tele-Therapy server allows long distance data gathering.

–          Allows data collection on several patients at the same time.

–          Maintain the connection between therapist and client.

–          Give the therapist the flexibility to design a tailor-made training program suitable for each individual.

The online service, supervised by a professional, can be a time saving tool that will spare the rides to the clinic for a therapy session and prevent missing working days for that cause.

It also provides a vital service for those who live in the suburbs and find it difficult to visit the clinic or the hospital for a weekly session.

For those who are having difficulties with getting an OT (Occupational therapist) involvement for their child, the Timocco on-line portal provides a solution with our Timocco’s Personal OT service. Timocco’s therapist supervise and support the online activity, adjust the practice for the child, his abilities, the goal of the therapy and his pace of progress.

hello my name is Jeannette and my daughter is Antonia, she is 4 years old and suffers from cerebral palsy that affects motor skills, their cognitive area is very good and so, like her mother, I would give him every opportunity in life to you can develop your mind and be a happy girl. I read a lot of TIMOCCO and I find it very good, is special and suitable for the case of Antonia, unfortunately I have not the resources to finance the purchase of the software, and it strikes me that a way to get this material is through “barter “ie, changing one thing for another, and what my husband and I can offer them is books written by him, Ricardo is an anthropologist and has been dedicated to the issue of conflict coastline and indigenous, ancestral fishing techniques, and culture southern tip of America. Also very good artist and could make
    a drawing.
I hope to get TIMOCCO, I’m sure Antonia go a long rehabilitation.
From now I give many thanks for reading this
    greetings from Puerto Montt, Chile.
