Introducing Timocco at the ICVR conference in Zurich

June 30, 2011 by sarittresser 1 Comment

After a very productive stay in the UK, I moved on to my next stop – the ICVR conference in Zurich. I was excited about this conference, since I knew that a lot of very well-known researchers were attending.
From the beginning of the first day, I knew I was not going to be disappointed. The exhibition area was full with the right people. All of them highly engaged in the field of Virtual Reality for rehabilitation.
I was excited to introduce Timocco to some of the biggest “players” in this field.
The feedback I received were very supportive, and I received many offers in regard to studies and research.
I was very much inspired by the work of others in the field of Virtual reality, and realized that although this field is expanding, there still was no such product as Timocco out there. Timocco was unique in terms of low costs and the population it targets.
The fact that it has proven to be attractive for academic uses as well as therapeutic practice, was very reassuring and gave me confidence that we are truly on the right path.
