Ladybugs premiere proves most popular game launch ever!

December 8, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

Since our Ladybugs game premiered Nov 27 we couldn’t help but notice how quickly it’s been chalking up game plays… more than any other new game launch before. So we wanted to say thanks to all those who’ve been helping the Ladybugs over the bridge and get home! If you haven’t had time to check out the game yet you can log-in here and get straight to it - the aim of the game is to move the bridge so the ladybugs can get across, and make sure not to let the annoying mosquitoes follow … [Read more...]

Therapists – Personalize Timocco now so you can show your clients where the fun’s coming from!

November 20, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

We know how important the link is between therapists and those they treat, and so we've taken on board a few ideas from our users that will help therapists personalize Timocco's gaming platform. Our new feature allows therapists to post their own logo to the Timocco website - so whether at the clinic or at home, while clients are having fun using Timocco they'll see their therapist's logo and know who to thank for all the fun!       To set it up, therapists just need to … [Read more...]

Ask Sarit: Is Timocco suitable for kindergarten kids with CP?

November 13, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

I work at a kindergarten for children with CP. Some are able to stand and are mobile without assistance, but have significant difficulties with motor control, coordination, stability and balance. Is Timocco suitable for their treatment? The difficulties you describe impact the ability of the children to acquire movement patterns, to carry out routine daily activities and their level of social participation. Therefore the use of a virtual reality environment like Timocco can be very helpful for … [Read more...]

How having fun playing Timocco changed the life of this little girl

November 10, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

This week we want to share with you a story about a little girl with CP who barely used her right arm - until her father discovered Timocco. With a combination of clinical sessions and home practice today 7-year old Dror can happily use both her arms and is on her way to a brighter, more independent future. Just watch how much fun she has playing Timocco! It's the type of success story that we love hearing about, and love telling people about. So we thought we'd share the … [Read more...]

Ask Sarit: How To Encourage Home Play Sessions

November 6, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

Question: I’m making plans for my clients to continue practicing at home. At the clinic they play Timocco with ease and enthusiasm; at every session, the children ask to play Timocco. However, it's very hard to get them to play at home even though they have a kit. How can I help them with that? One of the biggest challenges that we, as therapists, can encounter is creating a continuity of treatment; starting in the sessions in the clinic and continuing to the child’s natural environment at home. … [Read more...]

We’ve launched our new progress tracking tool!

November 4, 2014 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

We've added a new feature to help track progress among Timocco's users and we'd like to tell you about it. We've called it the 'progress tracking tool,' because that's what it does!   How does it work? The tool gathers data relating to bilateral coordination, midline crossing, hand-eye coordination and attention skills from four different Timocco games, each with a focus on one of those particular skills. It digests the information, crunches the numbers and spits out results in … [Read more...]
