April 4, 2017 by Jayne Malloy Leave a Comment

The Timocco team just returned from Philadelphia at our 4th AOTA conference, and it was the best one yet! We had a Timocco marathon playing over 500 games over the course of 3 days. It was great to meet therapists who have used Timocco for years and hear their feedback on our new platform updates. There was no shortage of smiles and energy at our booth as we … [Read more...]

Ask Sarit: Using Computer Gaming Software as Assistive Technology

January 26, 2015 by Eran Arden Leave a Comment

Hi, I’m a therapist at a child development center. We’ve seen the Timocco platform and formed a favorable impression, but as therapeutic staff we’re wondering whether we should be using a computer during therapy? Our clients are accustomed to them at home all the time anyway." It’s exactly because they have a computer at home, that the computer can be a motivation tool during clinical therapy. For today’s generation, where children spend many hours in front of computer screens, using … [Read more...]

Here at Timocco we’re ushering in the new year with yet another new game we’ve been working on! On the fun side: ‘Shoot for the stars’ is all about a multi-colored cannon that shoots fireworks. Players need to aim the cannon at the target that’s the same color before the fireworks launch to score. But don’t hit the wrong target, those rockets might bounce back… watch out for that! On the skills-building side: Shoot for the stars works across a range of motor and cognitive skills: … [Read more...]
